| Requirement | Description |

| Agentforce IT Service | Turn on Agentforce IT Service before you turn on Hardware Asset Management (HAM). HAM relies on Agentforce IT Service features such as service requests, advanced approvals, and notification builders. |
| Dependent IT Asset Management (ITAM) Add-Ons | To see the Hardware Asset Management section in Setup, turn on Inventory Management, Inventory Count, Inventory Replenishment, and Data Cloud. |
| Batch Management Permissions | Assign the Batch Management User permission to users who run bulk actions such as reclaims, refreshes, and disposals. You also need access to the Monitor Workflow Services setup page to track asynchronous jobs. |
| Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Service Graph | Turn on CMDB and Service Graph, and make sure that you have the ItSrvcCmdb platform license to use bidirectional Asset-to-CI synchronization. |
