Monitor synchronization logs to track hardware asset and configuration item (CI)
alignment. These logs show field-level updates and flag discrepancies or errors that need manual
intervention.

Note You need the IT Hardware Asset Management Inventory Auditor or System Administrator
profile.
From the App Launcher, find and select Configuration Management Item Sync
Logs.
Review log entries. Key fields include:
Log Title: A brief summary of the event (for example, "Asset–CI Sync
Failed")
Status: Current state of the log entry
Object Name: API name of the specific entity, for example, Asset
Related Object: Hardware asset associated with the log entry
Log Timestamp: Date and time when the log entry occurred
To find issues that need attention, click the filter icon and set Status to Error or Action
