Source requested hardware items from inventory locations to fulfill employee requests and maintain accurate inventory records. Reserve assets to secure stock and prevent double-booking while warehouse teams pick devices.

Before you pick devices, review and resolve fulfillment dependencies, such as product transfers or procurement requests.

          • Fulfillment Orders and Fulfillment Order Line Items
Manage delivering devices to employees and track inventory movement with fulfillment orders and fulfillment order line items. These entities group requested products by source location and maintain an audit trail for the fulfillment lifecycle.
          • Fulfill Hardware Requests
Sourcing items from stockrooms and deploying them to employees tracks fulfillments cleanly. This process uses fulfillment orders to group multiple products from the same location. Combining shipments reduces delivery fees and streamlines inventory auditing.
          • Fulfill Hardware Requests Using Soft Reservations
Secure inventory for specific demand sources before picking physical devices from the stockroom shelf. Soft reservations proactively prevent double-booking while giving your inventory managers time to physically fulfill the request.
          • Verify Hardware Fulfillment Dependencies
Verify logistical requirements for a fulfillment order line item to confirm that items are in stock and ready to pick. Make sure that internal transfers and external procurement batches are complete before physically gathering devices.
