Track your managed hardware asset count over a specific time frame to monitor
consumption and make sure that billing scales with operational needs. Use these metrics to
compare current usage against a purchased entitlement and identify inventory spikes that affect
your high water mark.

Hardware Asset Management uses a high water mark billing model. Your credit consumption is
determined based on the highest number of managed assets in the system during the billing
period
From App Launcher, find and select Digital Wallet.
In Consumption Cards, select the Hardware Asset Management card.
IT Hardware Assets Consumed shows your peak asset count for the period.
IT Hardware Assets Remaining indicates the capacity left before you reach your entitlement limit.
Click View Consumption Details to view the number of managed
assets for each day in the selected time frame.
Review daily snapshots to identify spikes in inventory from activities like bulk
imports.
Verify that active usage counts no longer include disposed assets.
