Admins define event types, such as maintenance windows or moratoriums, to schedule and
track on the IT Service Calendar. Multiple events of the same type can be created and managed by
your IT team.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited
Editions with Agentforce IT Service.
User Permissions Needed
To manage event types:
Create and Edit access on Event Type
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter IT Service Calendar, and
then select IT Service Calendar.
Create an event type.
Click New.
For example, create an event type for a moratorium period.
Enter a name and an optional description for the event.
To identify the event type on the calendar, select a color.
To make the event type available for scheduling, select Add and activate on
calendar.
Save your changes.
Deactivate an event type.
Click the down arrow next to the event type name, and select
Edit.
Clear Add and activate on calendar.
Save your changes.
