Definiera kriterier för att automatiskt länka upptäckta konfigurationsobjekt (CI) till befintliga tillgångar i IT-tillgångshantering. Skapa globala regler som gäller för en överordnad CI-hierarki, eller skapa specifika regler för individuella CI-typer. Att konfigurera en global regel följer samma steg som att skapa en specifik regel.

Skapa en regel för tillgångsmatchningskriterier:
Sök fram och öppna CMDB och Servicegraf i Appstartaren.
Från navigeringspanelen, välj CI-typhanterare.
Välj CI-typ.
För att skapa en regel för en specifik objekttyp, utöka hierarkin och välj en underordnad CI-typ, till exempel Workstation.
Klicka på fliken Regler och klicka sedan på Tillgångsmatchningskriterier.
Slå på Spåra som tillgångar.
Klicka på Lägg till regler.
Ange tillgångsfält, operator och CI-fält.
Klicka på Spara.
Exempel
Definiera en global regel för CI-typen Enhet baserat på attributet Tillgångstagg för att kontrollera allt hårdvarulager mot en gemensam identifierare. Konfigurera en tillgångsspecifik regel för den underordnade typen Workstation baserat på unika hårdvaruattribut, som Serienummer och MAC-adress. Under en upptäcktsskanning använder systemet den specifika regeln för att uppdatera arbetsstationsposter baserat på maskinvaruidentitet. Den globala regeln fungerar som en reserv.
