            Edit a Configuration Item

            Update a configuration item (CI) when asset details change.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service that have CMDB and Service Graph enabled.
            User Permissions Needed
            To edit configuration items: CMDB Admin OR CMDB Standard User
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select CMDB and Service Graph.
            2. In the navigation panel, select Configuration Items.
            3. In the All Configuration Items or My Configuration Items list view, select the configuration item to update.
            4. On the CI record page, click Edit and make your changes.
            5. Click Save.
