The Configuration Management Insights dashboard provides visual metrics and operational
insights for configuration items stored in CMDB. Use the dashboard to monitor CI distribution,
operational status, incident trends, and business criticality across your infrastructure.

Description
Total Configuration Items
Total number of configuration items (CIs) tracked in CMDB.
Configuration Items by Type
Number of CIs grouped by CI type, such as hardware, software, or network
adapter.
Configuration Items by Business Criticality
Number of CIs grouped by business criticality level.
Configuration Items by Status
Number of CIs grouped by operational status, such as installed, retired,
maintenance, production, or test.
Configuration Item Details
Detailed information for individual CIs, including CI name, type, and
status.
You can also use the dashboard filters to focus on specific CIs and trends across your
environment. The selected filters apply across all dashboard visualizations and tables,
helping you analyze specific groups of CIs effectively.

Filters dashboard metrics based on a selected time range. The time filter applies
to all dashboard visualizations.
CI Type
Filters dashboard data by configuration item type, such as server, application,
database, or network device.
CI Status
Filters dashboard data by operational status, such as production, maintenance,
installed, or retired.
