          Create IT Compliance Policies and Policy Clauses

          Create IT compliance policies and clauses to translate external regulatory frameworks, such as SOC 2 or HIPAA, into actionable internal standards. These records help you mitigate risk and ensure secure operations across your IT environment.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create and manage policy records: Compliance Admin permission set

          IT Compliance uses a versioned record system to ensure audit traceability. When you create a policy or clause, a version record is automatically created in Draft status. To keep your audit trail accurate, always create a new version record when you make significant updates to a policy or a clause.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select IT Compliance.
          2. Open Compliance Policies from the navigation menu.
          3. To create the high-level framework for your standards, click New and enter the policy details.

          4. To define specific clauses within a policy, click Related on the policy record.
          5. Click New on Compliance Policy Clause and enter the clause details.

          6. Save your changes.
