Smart Policy Authoring uses generative AI to analyze existing regulatory frameworks and
suggest internal policy language. After AI drafts the clauses, you can review, edit, and
associate them with your policy records.
Note Always review AI-generated content for accuracy and compliance with your company's
specific legal requirements.
From the App Launcher, find and select IT Compliance.
Open Compliance Policies from the navigation menu.
Open the policy record for which you want to draft clauses.
Click Smart Policy Authoring.
Select Create Policy Clauses with Generative AI, and click
Next.
Select a regulation and choose the specific regulatory clauses to use as a source for your
policy.
Click Save.
Generative AI starts drafting the clauses. The drafting process can take a few
minutes. You can close the window and continue working. You receive a notification when the
draft clauses are ready.
Click Review Policy Clause on the notification to view the generated
clauses.
Review the draft clauses and, if necessary, click Edit from the
actions menu to refine the text.
Select the clauses you want to keep and click Attach.
Select the compliance policy version to link the clauses to, and save your changes.
