Publish and Activate IT Compliance Policies and Clauses
Finalize your IT governance standards by publishing and activating policy versions and
clause versions. Activating a policy version with its underlying clauses ensures that the latest
standards are available for audits and employee review.

User Permissions Needed
To modify Policy records:
Compliance Admin permission set
To ensure a consistent audit trail, the system enforces these validations.
All mapped clause versions must be published before you publish the parent policy
version.
All mapped clause versions must be activated before you activate the parent policy
version.
Only one version of a specific clause or policy can be Active at a time.
Activating a new version automatically retires the previous version.
From the App Launcher, find and select IT Compliance.
Open the Compliance Policy Version or Compliance Policy Clause Version you want to
update.
To move a record from Draft to a finalized state, change the
Status field to Published.
