            Set Up Policy Management for IT Compliance

            Enable Policy Management to manage the policy lifecycle from drafting to publication. Quickly configure core features, including AI-assisted authoring and automated lifecycle governance.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.
            User Permissions Needed
            To enable Policy Management features

            To assign required permission sets to users Assign Permission Sets
            1. From the gear icon, select Salesforce Go, and then search for Accelerate Trust with Unified Risk and Compliance on the Feature page.
            2. Find and select Policy Management.
            3. Turn on Policy Management.
            4. To make sure authorized users can create, edit, and manage policies, click Manage next to Manage User Access to assign the Compliance Admin permission set.
            5. In the Unlock Advanced Functionality section, optionally enable features to enhance governance and visibility.
              1. To see a graphical map of how policies relate to other compliance objects, such as regulations or risks, set up Actionable Relationship Center (ARC) graphs.
              2. To enforce a standardized compliance lifecycle for a policy, such as status changes from Draft to Active, and ensure all required data is captured, turn on record status changes and validation requirements.

              3. To enable generative AI assistance for drafting policy clauses from regulations, enable Author Policies with AI.
                Author Policies with AI requires the AI IT Compliance add-on.
