            Deploy this template to provide employees with a standardized way to request for new software access.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.

            This template creates a service request record that captures essential user details for accurate and auditable fulfillment. Review what’s included with the template.

            Intake Attributes

            The intake form for this template captures these details from the employee:

            • Software Name: The name of the software application for which access is requested.
            • Business Justification: A brief explanation of why the software access is necessary for the employee’s role, project, or task.

            Note The intake flow for this service process includes a preconfigured integration with Okta to fetch a list of preapproved software available for the user to request.

            Automated Fulfillment

            This service process includes a fulfillment flow that automatically processes the service request. You can extend this flow in Flow Builder to include custom logic, such as automated manager approvals or inventory checks.

            Integration

            This template uses a preconfigured integration with Okta in the fulfillment flow. To use this integration, ensure your Okta credentials are configured. To learn more about this third-party connector, see Okta Connector.
