            Request Shared Mailbox

            Deploy this template to provide employees with a standardized way to request for new shared mailboxes.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.

            This template creates a service request record that captures essential user details for accurate and auditable fulfillment. Review what’s included with the template.

            Intake Attributes

            The intake form for this template captures these details from the employee:

            • Mailbox Name: The name of the shared mailbox.
            • Shared Mailbox Email: The email address for the shared mailbox.
            • Member Email Addresses: The email addresses of members who will have access to the mailbox.
            • Business Justification: The business justification for creating the shared mailbox.

            Automated Fulfillment

            This service process includes a fulfillment flow that automatically processes the service request. You can extend this flow in Flow Builder to include custom logic, such as automated manager approvals or inventory checks.

            Integration

            This template uses a preconfigured integration with Microsoft Entra ID in the fulfillment flow. To use this integration, ensure your Microsoft Entra ID credentials are configured. To learn more about this third-party connector, see Microsoft Entra ID connector.
