            Request Application Password Reset

            Deploy this template to provide employees with a standardized way to request an application password reset.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.

            This template creates a service request record that captures essential user details for accurate and auditable fulfillment. Review what’s included with the template.

            Intake Attributes

            The intake form for this template captures these details from the employee:

            • Application Name: The name of the application requiring a password reset.
            • User Email Address: The email address of the user requiring a password reset.

            Automated Fulfillment

            This service process includes a fulfillment flow that automatically processes the service request. You can extend this flow in Flow Builder to include custom logic, such as automated manager approvals or inventory checks.

            Integration

            This template uses a preconfigured integration with an identity management system, such as Microsoft Entra ID or Okta. The integration performs the automated password reset during fulfillment. To use this integration, configure your identity management system credentials.
