Request Azure Virtual Machine

This template creates a service request record that captures essential user details for accurate and auditable fulfillment. Review what’s included with the template.
Intake Attributes
The intake form for this template captures these details from the employee:
- Azure Location: The Azure region where the service provisions the virtual machine.
- Virtual Machine Size: The compute capacity size for the virtual machine.
- Image Publisher: The publisher of the virtual machine image.
- Image Offer: The specific image offer from the selected publisher.
- Image SKU: The specific stock keeping unit (SKU) for the selected image offer.
- Virtual Machine Name: The unique name assigned to the virtual machine.
- Virtual Network: The name of the virtual network for virtual machine placement.
- Subnet: The specific subnet name within the virtual network.
- Network Interface Name: The name of the network interface associated with the virtual machine.
- Administrator Username: The username for the virtual machine administrator account.
- Administrator Password: The password for the virtual machine administrator account.
Automated Fulfillment
This service process includes a fulfillment flow that automatically processes the service request. You can extend this flow in Flow Builder to include custom logic, such as automated manager approvals or inventory checks.
Integration
This template uses a preconfigured integration with Microsoft Azure in the fulfillment flow. To use this integration, configure your Microsoft Azure credentials. To learn more about this third-party connector, see Azure Connector.
