          Deploy this template to provide employees with a standardized way to request the creation of a new DNS record.

          This template creates a service request record that captures essential user details for accurate and auditable fulfillment. Review what’s included with the template.

          Intake Attributes

          The intake form for this template captures these details from the employee:

          • Record Name: The name of the Domain Name System (DNS) record.
          • DNS Zone: The authorized DNS zone for the record.
          • Record Type: The specific type of DNS record.
          • TTL: The time-to-live (TTL) value for the DNS record.
          • Record Address: The IP address or target value for the DNS record.
          • Comments: Additional context or justification for the DNS record request.

          Automated Fulfillment

          This service process includes a fulfillment flow that automatically processes the service request. You can extend this flow in Flow Builder to include custom logic, such as automated manager approvals or inventory checks.
