            Deploy this template to provide employees with a standardized way to request a change of owner for a Microsoft Entra group or team.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.

            This template creates a service request record that captures essential user details for accurate and auditable fulfillment. Review what’s included with the template.

            Intake Attributes

            The intake form for this template captures these details from the employee:

            • Group Name: The name of the Microsoft 365 group or team for the ownership change.
            • Current Group Owner: The username or identifier of the current group owner.
            • New Owner: The username or identifier of the user who becomes the new group owner.

            Automated Fulfillment

            This service process includes a fulfillment flow that automatically processes the service request. You can extend this flow in Flow Builder to include custom logic, such as automated manager approvals or inventory checks.

            Integration

            This template uses a preconfigured integration with Microsoft Entra in the fulfillment flow. To use this integration, configure your Microsoft Entra credentials. To learn more about this third-party connector, see Microsoft Entra ID Connector.
