            Deploy this template to provide employees with a standardized way to request a new Microsoft Teams collaboration channel.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.

            This template creates a service request record that captures essential user details for accurate and auditable fulfillment. Review what’s included with the template.

            Intake Attributes

            The intake form for this template captures these details from the employee:

            • Channel Name: The name of the requested channel.
            • Channel Membership Type: The membership type assigned to users within the channel.
            • Team Membership Type: The membership type assigned to users within the team.
            • Channel Member List: The email addresses of the members included in the channel request, up to 20 per request.

            Automated Fulfillment

            This service process includes a fulfillment flow that automatically processes the service request. You can extend this flow in Flow Builder to include custom logic, such as automated manager approvals or inventory checks.

            Integration

            This template uses a preconfigured integration with Microsoft Teams in the fulfillment flow. To use this integration, configure your Microsoft Teams credentials are configured. To learn more about this third-party connector, see Microsoft Teams Connector.
