Set Up Advanced Risk Management Features

Set Up Advanced Risk Management Features

Unlock the AI features that help your team work faster and stay current. Turn on Proactive Assistance to generate readable summaries of risks and evaluations on demand, and Continuous Evaluation to let an AI agent monitor your environment, draft new evaluations on every significant change, and queue them up for human review.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with AI IT Compliance add-on.
          User Permissions Needed
To turn on advanced Risk Management features in Salesforce Go: Compliance Admin permission set

Set up Risk Management before you turn on these advanced features, so the AI has a Risk Register, an active scoring expression set, and survey templates to work with. See Configure Risk Management for IT Compliance.

The Risk Management feature page in Salesforce Go has an Unlock Advanced Functionality section with two groups of optional toggles you can turn on independently:

          • Activate Proactive Assistance. Enables on-demand AI summaries of Risk and Risk Evaluation records, so your team can read a concise narrative instead of piecing the picture together from related records.
          • Automate Risk Assessment and Remediation Using AI Agents. Enables Continuous Evaluation, the background agent that drafts new Risk Evaluations whenever it detects tracked changes to mapped policy clauses, controls, or scopes.

Each toggle is independent. Turn on the ones your team needs, in any order.

Activate Proactive Assistance in Salesforce Go

Enable on-demand AI summaries of Risk and Risk Evaluation records from the Risk Management feature page in Salesforce Go.

          1. On the Salesforce Go page, click the Features tab, and then search for and select Accelerate Trust with Unified Risk and Compliance.
          2. Next to Risk Management, click Set Up.
          3. Scroll to the Unlock Advanced Functionality section, and then expand Activate Proactive Assistance.
          4. Turn on the Turn On Proactive Assistance for Risk toggle. This is the parent toggle that activates proactive AI for Risk records.
          5. Turn on the toggles for the summary types you want:
            • Turn On Proactive Assistance for Risk Summary. Generates summaries of Risk records, covering current posture, mapped controls, treatment in place, and stakeholders.
            • Turn On Proactive Assistance for Risk Evaluation Summary. Generates summaries of Risk Evaluation records, including survey responses and the rationale for recalculated likelihood and impact scores.

Activate Continuous Evaluation in Salesforce Go

Turn on the AI agent for autonomous risk evaluation from the Risk Management feature page in Salesforce Go.

          1. On the Salesforce Go page, click the Features tab, and then search for and select Accelerate Trust with Unified Risk and Compliance.
          2. Next to Risk Management, click Set Up.
          3. Scroll to the Unlock Advanced Functionality section, and then expand Automate Risk Assessment and Remediation Using AI Agents.
          4. Turn on the Turn On Continuous Evaluation toggle.

The agent is now active and starts monitoring the policy clauses, controls, and scopes mapped to risks in your Risk Register. When a tracked change is detected, the agent drafts a new Risk Evaluation and posts an update on the evaluation's feed for your team to review.

          Note
Note To see the agent's activity in the UI, make sure the Feed component is on your Risk Evaluation page layout. Feed Tracking is enabled by default on the underlying entity, but the agent's posts only render when the Feed component is part of the layout.
