          Configure Employee Service Slack App for IT Services

          The Employee Services Slack app allows employees to interact with IT services directly from their Slack workspace. They can use the app to create incidents with slash commands and receive real-time notifications on ticket creation and updates. They can also troubleshoot issues with knowledge articles, get status updates, and use agent actions for quicker resolution.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions

          To use Slack for Agentforce IT Service Connect Salesforce with Slack

          Admin Setup

          1. From the Setup menu in your Salesforce org, select Salesforce Go.
          2. On the Salesforce Go home page, search for and select Slack for Employee Service.
          3. In the Set Up the Basics section, from the Preferred Digital Experience Site Name dropdown, select the Digital Experience site that you want to connect Slack with.
            This selection is required. All Employee Service users authenticate to Slack through the selected Digital Experience site URL. If a site isn't selected, users can't authenticate to the Employee Service Slack app.
          4. In the Set Up the Basics section, click Set Up Self Service.
          5. Select the portal and click Install.
          6. From the top-right dropdown, select the correct Slack workspace and click Allow.
          7. Allow Slack to access your account.
            The Employee Service Slack app is installed in the Slack workspace.

          Employee Setup

          1. Login to your Slack workspace and reset your Employee Service portal password from the link received in email if User is not already created.
          2. Login to your Employee Service portal using your credentials.
          3. From the top-right dropdown, select the workspace where your admin has installed the Employee Service for Slack app if you are a part of multiple workspaces.
          4. Allow Slack to access your account.
