Sell Products and Services during WhatsApp Conversations

Showcase your inventory and drive sales directly within a WhatsApp conversation by sending your entire catalog, a single-product message, or a multi-product message.

Instead of redirecting customers to external websites, use the Catalog messaging component to send your entire catalog, a single-product message, or a multi-product message. For more information, see the Meta documentation.

          1. Upload your product or service inventory to Meta.
          2. Connect your uploaded Meta Catalog to your WABA (WhatsApp Business Account).
          3. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Messaging Components, and select Messaging Components.
          4. Click New Component and then click Catalog.
          5. Click Next.
          6. Enter the messaging component name, developer name, and provide a brief description of what the component does.
          7. Click Next.
          8. Select the Apex class that processes the catalog and then click Done.
            The Component Details page appears.
          9. Click + Add Catalog Type and then click Catalog Types.
          10. Click Next.
          11. Select Single-Product Message, Multi-Product Message, or Catalog Message and then click Done.
The Catalog tab appears under the Component Formats section in the left panel.
          12. Click Catalog and configure Component Properties.
          13. Click Save.
          14. Click Activate.
