Configure Marketing Cloud Engagement for Safety Cloud
You can use Marketing Cloud Engagement to send confirmation and status update emails
with Safety Cloud. The Health Verification record status spurs email generation.

To send confirmation and status update emails, you must configure Engagement with your
org.
Configuring Engagement involves these tasks:
Creating an installed package within Engagement.
Adding the Marketing Cloud Engagement API as a Salesforce Authentication Provider.
Adding the callback URL to your Engagement Package and Authenticate.
Preparing to send COVID-19 Health Verification notifications to Safety Cloud
customers.
Configuring Occasion Email Mapping records for the send definitions configured in
Engagement.
Scheduling the confirmation and verification emails.
Set up Marketing Cloud Engagement for the Safety Cloud Package If you plan to use Marketing Cloud Engagement to send initial confirmation and status update emails, create an installed package in Engagement and set up the Marketing Cloud Engagement API.
