Install the Safety Cloud Package
Install the package to access the tools that help accelerate your deployment of COVID-19 Health Verification solutions.

Before installing the Safety Cloud and Safety Cloud Template packages, review Considerations for Safety Cloud Packages.
Additionally, complete these steps to ensure data protection.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Data Protection and Privacy, and then select Data Protection and Privacy.
- Click Edit, select the Make data protection details available in records checkbox, and then save your changes.
We strongly recommend installing the package and testing the form in a sandbox or scratch org before using a production org. You can test the form and communications before deploying your implementation for recipients.
To install the Safety Cloud package, complete these steps.
- Navigate to this URL in your browser: https://install.salesforce.com/products/safetyCloud.

Select the Safety Cloud and Safety Cloud Template Packages
plan.
Note To use the template, you must accept the installer terms and conditions specific to the Safety Cloud Template package. - Click Log In to Start Pre-Install Validation.
- Select your org type, and enter your Salesforce username and password.
- To run the preinstall validation, click Allow.

In the Connected to Salesforce box, confirm that you’re logged in to the correct org.
If the preinstall validation fails, use the error messages in the installer to troubleshoot and complete the preinstallation requirements. When you’re ready, return to the installer URL, and try again.
- Review the list of customizations the installer makes.
- To accept the terms of use, click Install and Confirm.
- If you’re prompted to allow Metadeploy access for your org, click Allow.
Complete the configuration procedures for Safety Cloud.
