Create an Occasion
Use the Occasion Object that comes with Safety Cloud to create Health Verification configurations specific to an event.
Every event that requires Health Verification is represented through the system as an Occasion.
An Occasion can have multiple events at multiple locations over multiple days.
To create an Occasion, complete these steps.
- Log into Safety Cloud as an admin with the Safety Cloud permission set.
- From the App launcher, search for Occasions.
- Select Occasions, and click New.
- Enter an Occasion Name.
- Optional: If applicable, enter a Unique ID for the Occasion from your Guest Management system.

Save your changes.
The Occasion Record includes a Related view and a Details view.
The Related view shows the child objects that, when set up, provide the Health Verification configuration for the Occasion.
Now you can begin to add and configure the Occasion child objects.
The child objects, shown in the Related view, include the configuration settings that control various aspects of Health Verification for the Occasion. These settings include the layout of the Health Verification form, criteria for generating QR codes to access an event, and email communications with event attendees.
