To create batch data transforms:

Data Cloud Architect

Data transforms process the underlying data that Self Learning Knowledge uses to generate recommendations. Without a data transform that runs on a regular schedule, your recommendations become stale.

  1. In Data Cloud, on the Data Transforms tab, click the Actions button next to the data transform you created when setting up Customer Signals Intelligence (Clustering Data Transform). Select Run.

Running the data transform immediately after setup helps Self Learning Knowledge begin processing data before the first scheduled run occurs.

  2. In Data Transforms, from Recently Viewed, click the Actions button next to the data transform name, and select Schedule.
  3. Under Run Mode, click Scheduled.
  4. Select the frequency and time interval.

For Self Learning Knowledge, we suggest a monthly frequency so recommendations always reflect current data.

If you schedule a transform to run at an interval of days, the schedule is based on the first day of the month. Schedule a transform to run at an hourly interval, and the schedule begins at the start time and runs until the end of the day.

The latest you can select a time interval for is one year ago from the current date.

    Note
Note Overlapping scheduled transforms results in the second transform getting canceled.
  5. Select the start time and time zone, and then save the schedule.
