            Set up Marketing Cloud Engagement to Send Customer Health Verification Notifications

            Prepare and send COVID-19 health verification notifications such as confirmation and status updates to your customers. Send notifications using Content Builder and Journey Builder in Marketing Cloud Engagement.

            Keep these things in mind when writing updates for recipients.

            • Specify a time frame for how long it generally takes to verify the customer’s request.
            • We recommend that you tell customers:
              • How your organization plans to use the uploaded file attachments.
              • How long you must keep the file attachments.
              • Any other information about your organization's data use and retention policies.
            • Don’t include recipients’ personal information in the subject or body of your emails.
            • Follow our tips for Integrating Ethics into Vaccine Management.
            1. Create two data extensions from the TriggeredSendDataExtension template

              The attributes in the data extensions are used in the transactional email messaging that you set up when you create the Transactional Send Journey.

            2. Create a Transactional Send Journey.
              Transactional Send journeys enable you to create and manage transactional API messages in the same Journey Builder workspace used to manage Single Send and Multi-Step journeys.
              Be sure to save the name of the Event Definition Key from the Transactional Send Journey. You use the name as the field value when creating the Occasion Email Mapping records.
