Assign Community User Access

Confirm external licenses and assign the permission set that lets community users read the scheduling data model and book their own appointments.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions
User Permissions Needed
To set up community scheduling: Customize Application AND Manage Flow
To let community users schedule: Workforce Scheduling for Community Users permission set
  1. Confirm each user has an external license, either Customer Community or Partner Community.
  2. Assign the Workforce Scheduling for Community Users permission set so community users can read the scheduling data model and book their own appointments.
  3. Save your changes.
