Field scheduling covers work that a resource performs at the customer’s location, such as home visits or site inspections, tracked as Visits or Service Appointments. Configure org-level defaults for how field appointments are created, scheduled, and optimized — including due dates, status transitions, operating hours, appointment sliding and pinning, travel time, and optimization commit modes.
On-site scheduling covers work performed at a branch or office, such as an in-office interview, tracked as Interactions or Service Appointments. Configure org-level defaults for how on-site appointments are scheduled — including status transitions, pin criteria, lobby management for drop-in appointments, and multi-resource scheduling.
