Create Service Resources

Represent the people and assets that perform work as service resources so that you can assign service appointments to them.

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions

User Permissions Needed
To create service resources:	Workforce Scheduling Admin

From Salesforce Go, search for and select Workforce Scheduling Data & Permissions.
Click Create Service Resources and then New Service Resource.
Enter the details that identify the service resource.
- Name: the name of the service resource.
- Resource Type: Technician or Asset.
- User: select the associated Salesforce user of the service resource.
- Service Territory: search for and select the associated service territory.
- Required Skills: search for and select the skills for the resource.
Save your changes.
