Grant Community Users Read Access to Scheduling Data

Share the scheduling records that community users need to see available time slots and complete a booking.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions
User Permissions Needed
To set up community scheduling: Customize Application AND Manage Flow
To let community users schedule: Workforce Scheduling for Community Users permission set

External users have Private access by default, so community users can't see the records that scheduling needs until you share them.

Create sharing rules that grant Read access to these objects, shared to the community user group or role: Work Type, Service Territory, Operating Hours, Service Resource, Location, Asset, and Shift.

Without these rules, community users can't see available time slots or complete a booking.
