Set Up the Guest Flows

Clone the shipped scheduling flows so you can activate them, make them available to guests, and point them at guest identity verification.

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions
User Permissions Needed
To set up guest scheduling flows: Customize Application AND Manage Flow
To let guests use the flows: Workforce Scheduling Guest User and Composable Case Management Scheduling for Guest Users permission sets
  1. Clone the identity verification flow, then activate the clone. This flow collects the guest's name and email and validates the emailed passcode.
  2. Clone the Schedule New Appointment flow. In the clone:
    1. Set the flow's context input to guest so the flow runs the guest identity path.
    2. Replace the identity verification subflow with the clone you activated in step 1.
    3. Map the subflow's verified-session and resolved-guest outputs to the corresponding Schedule New Appointment inputs.
  3. Clone the guest modification flow that handles reschedule and cancel.
  4. Activate each cloned flow.
