          Viewing and Managing Approval Requests

If your admin has set up an approval process for shift assignments, planners can review pending approvals directly from the Schedule Manager.

          Required Editions

          View supported editions.

Click View Approval Requests at the top of the Schedule Manager page to open the approval queue in a new tab. From there, planners can approve, reject, or reassign shifts.

Click the gear icon (Open settings) in the top-right corner of the Schedule Manager to open the Adjust View panel.

          Setting Description
Show Territory Time Zone When enabled, shift times are displayed in the service territory's local time zone. When disabled, shifts display in the logged-in user's time zone.
Capacity Plan Link a Capacity Plan to the view to populate the Required Staffing row with forecasted staffing targets. Select a plan from the dropdown, or leave as No Plan to hide required staffing data.

          Relationship to Shifts App

All shifts created or modified in Schedule Manager are the same Shift records accessible from the Shifts app in the App Launcher. Planners who use the Shifts table view, mass shift update, or batch assignment tools continue to work with the same data. The Schedule Manager is an additional visual entry point to the same shifts, not a separate system.

Existing customers using the Shift Manager scheduler view (available in the Shifts app by switching to schedule view) can access the same scheduling capabilities through the Schedule Manager UI with the added benefit of staffing metrics, Day View, and Job Profile grouping.
