Share a Link to a Chatter Post

In Salesforce Classic, share a post with other Chatter users via email or instant message.

When sharing a link to a post in Salesforce Classic, keep in mind:

You can’t share a link to a post from a private group.
You can’t share a post to a private group that includes external users.
You can share public posts, but you can’t share feed tracked items and custom feed items, like approvals, dashboard snapshots, or case interactions.
To see the post, the people to whom you send the link to the post must be Chatter users.

In the Chatter feed, go to the post you want to share.
Click Share.
In the top corner, click Show link to post.
Copy the link, paste it in an email or instant message, and send it.
When recipients of the email or instant message click the link, the post appears in their Chatter updates.
