Admissions Connect Entity Relationship Diagram
Understand how objects relate to one another and how to get more information about the Admissions Connect data model.
The Education Data Architecture (EDA) is the framework for Admissions Connect’s data model. Admissions Connect allows the Application object from EDA to be associated to Application Reviews and the Salesforce standard Action Plan objects. Data from Salesforce, synced from your student information system (SIS) or imported from Common App, can be displayed in the Application Review record by the Admissions Connect components. Admissions Connect provides a single Contact record that can follow a person from suspect, prospect, and student.
Here’s the high-level overview of how the objects work together.
-
Application Review records let you associate a single Application with multiple reviews.
-
Action Plan Templates let you define different requirements for different types of applications.
-
Document Checklist Items collect and display application documents, such as PDFs and images of transcripts, supplemental materials, IDs, or other items.
-
Tasks collect and display application data, such as the applicant’s birth date or address.
-
Application Material Type records specify the field set related to the Task in an Action Plan.
-
Application Material Mapping records determine how the Action Plan Templates—your application requirements—display in relation to one another.
-
Action Plans are created from your Action Plan Templates and are assigned to Applications to let admissions staff and applicants know what requirements must be completed and submitted.
