You can choose how resources in a success team are assigned to appointments. With automatic assignments and resource utilization policies, you can efficiently manage your service resources.
The resource assignment type for a success team determines the schedule appointment workflow on the learner portal:
| Success Team Resource Assignment Type | Schedule Appointment Workflow |
|---|---|
| Manual | Learners must select an advisor. |
| Automatic | Learners can't choose the advisor. The advisor is assigned automatically based on availability and the defined scheduling policy. If no policy is in effect, the appointment distribution is random. |
| Both (manual and automatic) | Learners can choose to select an advisor or be assigned one. |
