Configure the New Application Window
Set up the New Application window the way you want it to appear in your portal.

- In Experience Builder, go to the Pages menu, and select the Application List page under Preliminary Application Reference.
- To open the design attributes panel, click the New Application component.

Make selections in the design attributes panel based on
how you want the New Application window to appear in your portal. Pay
particular attention to:
- Mode - Self mode enables users to apply on their own behalf. Proxy mode enables users to apply on behalf of others or themselves.
- Maximum Program Applications - To enable your users to apply to one program, enter 1 or leave this field blank. To enable your users to create preliminary applications for multiple programs at once, enter 2 or more, up to a maximum of 20.
When a student submits an application, a Preliminary Application Record (PAR) and an Individual Application record are created automatically.
