Create Assessment Questions for Pulse Checks
Create an Omniscript form with questions and configure its sharing settings for your pulse check. Create a decision matrix to map the response values, and configure the flow to calculate the response scores.

Create assessments as needed.
- Create an Omniscript form and add your assessment questions. See Create an Assessment with Discovery Framework.
- Click Build Omniscript.
- Select Pulse Check as the usage type, and then save your changes.
- In Omnistudio Designer, click the Save Responses remote action element to select it.
- In Remote Action Properties, expand Messaging Framework, and then select PubSub.
- Enter assessmentId as the key.
- Enter %assessmentId% as the value.
- Save your changes.
- Preview and activate the form.

Create a sharing rule to provide access to the Omniprocess:
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Sharing Settings and select it.
- In the Sharing Rules related list for Omniprocesses, click New.
- Enter a name and label for the rule.
- Under Select your rule type, select Based on criteria.

Add the criteria as shown in this table:

- Under Select the level of access for the users, select Read Only.
- Save your changes.

Populate the decision matrix with the questions and options from your pulse check
assessment, and enter an appropriate response value score for each option.

Use the Update Assessment Question Response Score flow template to create a record
triggered flow, and then activate the flow. See Configure and Clone the Flows to Evaluate Assessment Scores.
When a pulse check response is submitted, the response value score field for the related assessment question response record is updated. The response score values are used to plot the score graph for the learner's pulse check.

Use the icon data type in Education Cloud to create pulse check assessment questions that students can respond to with emojis. Create a rating scale by assigning numeric values to the icon responses and view the student’s sentiments over time with score graphs.
