Create Pathway Templates

To guide learners through the planning process, set up learner pathway templates for them to build their pathways from. Learners can use templates that the institution builds, or build a pathway from scratch.

1. In the App Launcher, enter Learning Pathway, and then select Learning Pathway Templates.
2. Click New.
3. Enter a name for the template, and then click Save.
4. To associate learning pathway template program plans with the template, click Related.
   This makes courses available in the pathway planner.
5. In the Learning Pathway Template Item section or the Learning Pathway Template Program Plan section, click New, and enter the details.
   For learning pathway template items, enter values for Type, Learning Pathway Template, Learning, and Learning Program Plan Requirement.
6. Save your changes.
7. Similarly, associate this template with each desired learning pathway template item and learning pathway template program plan.
8. On the Learning Pathway Template record page, click the Pathway Planner tab to open Intelligent Degree Planner.
9. Click Edit Template.
10. Arrange the years, sessions, terms, and courses on the template, and save your changes.
11. To make the template available to students, go to the template's Details tab and change the status to Active.
