            Create Record Alerts and Post Student Progress

            Configure flows to create student record alerts and send course offering participant insights directly to Slack.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Education Cloud
            User Permissions Needed
            To turn on Advanced Academic Operations: Education Cloud Full Access
            To configure flows: Manage Flow

            Before you start:

            1. Modify the EDU Course Operations: Create Record Alert flow.
              1. From Setup, find and select Flows.
              2. Select EDU Course Operations: Create Record Alert.
              3. Click Save as New Flow.
              4. For the Get Advising Case element, add a condition where the Record Type ID equals the ID of the advising case record type.
                To locate the record type ID, see Find the Salesforce ID of a Record Type.
              5. Save and activate the flow.
            2. Modify the EDU Course Operations: Post Student Progress to Slack Channel flow.
              1. From Setup, find and select Flows.
              2. Select EDU Course Operations: Post Student Progress to Slack Channel.
              3. Click Save as New Flow.
              4. To post student progress on a different schedule, in the Start element, edit the frequency.
              5. Save and activate the flow.
