Deploy a Data Structure for MortarCAPS

Add region-specific fields and metadata to your org's objects that align with the MortarCAPS Higher Learning Data Standards.

To set up MortarCAPS Compliance and Configuration: Education Cloud Full Access

If you turn on MortarCAPS Compliance and Configuration, you can't turn it off. To see how the data extension affects your org, preview MortarCAPS Compliance and Configuration in a sandbox.

  1. From Setup, find and select Set Up Education Cloud.
  2. Under Set Up Region-Specific Data Extensions, turn on MortarCAPS Compliance and Configuration.
    Fields that meet the MortarCAPS Higher Learning Data Standards are now available on all affected objects. See Education Cloud Fields on Standard Objects for MortarCAPS Compliance and Configuration.
  3. For each object that your institution uses, add a section that shows MortarCAPS-aligned fields to its page layout. See Customize Page Layouts with the Enhanced Page Layout Editor.
