Education Intelligence Considerations and Requirements
Use the information in this section to make sure that you set up your org correctly for
the installation. To support your installation and visualizations, review the requirements for
your org data, Data 360, and Tableau Next.

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Education Cloud, Data 360, and Tableau Next
License and Permission Requirements
All users require Tableau Next and Data 360 licenses, and an appropriate Tableau Next
permission set and its required Data 360 permission set. See Tableau Next Permission Sets and Licenses.
To set up Tableau Next and install Education Intelligence, admin users need the Education Cloud Full Access, Data Cloud Architect, and Tableau Unmetered Admin or Tableau Next Admin permission sets.
Requirements for Education Intelligence
Education Cloud Org Requirements
Education Cloud is enabled.
Education Cloud apps are enabled. For example, Student Success, Academic Operations, and Advanced Academic Operations are the required apps for the Course Operations dashboard and Student Success visualizations and metrics.
The Education Cloud Full Access permission set has an assigned data space to deploy the
Education Cloud data streams to.
Education Cloud records are populated. For example, to provide data for Course Operations
and Student Success, make sure that these records have the correct data.

Data 360 Requirements
Data 360 for Education Cloud is enabled.
C360 semantic model is installed.
To view dashboards, visualizations, and metrics, you need to map the associated data model objects (DMOs) and refresh data streams. For example, to view the Course Operations dashboard and Student Success visualizations and metrics, deploy the Academic Operations and Student Success data stream bundles or map related DMOs and refresh data streams.
