Add a Designation to a Gift Transaction in Education

1. From the App Launcher (), find and select Gift Transactions.
2. Open a gift transaction.
3. Click Manage Gift Transaction Designations.
4. To add designations, click Add Row. Or modify an existing entry, such as change its allocation ratio. The sum of percentage values for all designations must be equal to or less than 100. You can add up to 50 designations to each gift transaction.
5. Save your changes.

View the gift transaction designations in the related list. If the allocations total less than 100%, the remaining gift amount is automatically allocated to the org-wide default designation.

Note To ensure accurate record rollups, don't update the currency of a gift transaction after you associate it with a gift transaction designation.
