Set Up Education Intelligence
To access dashboards, visualizations, metrics, and the Education Cloud Semantic Data Model (SDM), install Education Intelligence.

Prerequisites for the Education Intelligence Installation
Before you install Education Intelligence, complete these steps.
- Set up Data 360 for Education Cloud.
- Turn on Tableau Next.

Turn on Metric Insight Summary in Tableau Next
Setup.
Only turn on Metric Insight Summary. The TableauFollowMetrics permission set isn’t a requirement.
- Install the C360 semantic model.
Install Education Intelligence
- From Setup, find and select Intelligent Apps.
- Click Templates.
- Find Education Intelligence, and from the Action dropdown, click Create App.

Select the data space that you deploy your Education Cloud data streams to. See Deploy an Education Data Kit Data Stream.
Make sure that you associate this data space with the Education Cloud Full Access permission set.
- Click Next.
- If you want to rename the app, enter an app name.
- Click Create.
- On the Monitor page in the App Hub, track the installation progress. If anything fails, find error details on this page.
Now, you can access the Tableau Next components and the Education Cloud SDM in the Education Intelligence app. From the App Launcher, find and select Tableau Next, and then from the search bar, find and select Education Intelligence.
To make sure that the insights come from the correct data streams, deploy the related data stream bundles. See Education Intelligence Considerations and Requirements.
