Create and activate an Education Proxy Portal, assign proxy profiles, and then configure
the portal to support delegated access. Support proxy scenarios across all educational levels. In
K-12, parents can manage households, applications, and student information, while in higher
education, designated proxies can securely access records and perform tasks that students
delegate.

Developer Editions with Education Cloud license and the Revenue Cloud Billing

User Permissions Needed
To set up the proxy portal:
Education Cloud Full Access permission set
AND
Create and Set Up Experiences
AND
View Setup and Configuration
Note To create an Experience Cloud site, first enable Digital Experiences for your org and
register the domain. See Enable Digital Experiences. You’re also a site member,
either as a Salesforce admin or as an Experience admin, publisher, or builder.
To set up the proxy portal for delegated access:
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, find and select All Sites under
Digital Experiences.
On the Digital Experiences page, click New.
On the Lightning Experience guided flow, choose the Education Proxy
Portal template.
To develop a custom site, select Build Your Own.
Click Get Started.
Enter a site name, and then click Create.
Click Administration.
Click Members.
Add your proxy profiles to the Selected Profiles section.
If errors occur when you create an Experience Cloud site, verify that these Apex classes are
available in your org. To see your Apex classes, from Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter
Apex Classes, and then select Apex Classes.
Configure Proxy Self-Registration Set up your proxy portal so that when a student adds a proxy, the proxy self-registers. Setup includes enabling standard external profiles, configuring the registration page, and creating email templates. Registered proxies join your Experience Cloud site directly from the login page.
