Set Up Einstein Advising Summary

Enable Einstein and configure the Einstein Summary component to use Einstein Advising Summary.

Available in: Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Education Cloud and the Agentforce for Education add-on license. Einstein generative AI is available in Lightning Experience. To purchase the Agentforce for Education add-on, contact your Salesforce account executive.

USER PERMISSIONS NEEDED
To set up Einstein Advising Summary:	Education Cloud Full Access AND View Setup & Configuration AND Customize Application

Note Einstein Advising Summary uses Einstein Generative AI and consumes Einstein Requests. Einstein Generative AI Features are provided on a separate infrastructure with different security protections and physical hosting locations than the Services. See Salesforce Trust and Compliance Documentation for more information.

1. Enable Einstein for Education Cloud.
   1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Set Up Education Cloud and select it.
   2. Under Set Up Einstein for Education Cloud, turn on Einstein AI.
   3. Turn on Einstein for Education Cloud.
   4. Turn on Einstein Advising Summary.
2. Provide the necessary permissions to users.
   1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users and select it.
   2. Click the user that you want to give access to.
   3. Under Permission Set Assignments, click Edit Assignments.
   4. Add these permission sets.
      • Education Cloud Full Access
      • Einstein for Education Cloud Access
      • Einstein for Service Innovations
      • Prompt Template User
   5. Save your changes.
3. Add a tab for advising summaries to the case record page layout. See Create and Configure Lightning Experience Record Pages.
   1. From the App Launcher, find and select Cases.
   2. Click any case to view its record page.
   3. Click Setup, and then click Edit Page.
   4. Click the Tabs component, and then click Add Tab.
   5. Select Custom for the tab label, and enter a name.
      Enter Advising Summaries.
   6. Click Done.
4. Add and configure the Einstein Summary component.
   1. Drag the Einstein Summary component to the new tab.
   2. Select Field Generation for the prompt template type.
   3. Select Summarize Advising Case for the prompt template name.
   4. Save your changes.
