To help students meet their payment commitments, offer flexible payment options that
spread tuition across multiple installments and match their financial accounts and debt
situations. Configure monthly, quarterly, or custom schedules that match your billing cycles and
automate payment collection through integrated gateways. Your students track their plan status and
upcoming auto-debits in real time from the learner portal.
To define the frequency and count of payment installments, create a payment schedule
distribution method.
To represent a payment plan option visible to students, create a payment schedule treatment
record in the Draft status.
To link the payment schedule treatment to the payment schedule distribution method, create
a payment schedule treatment detail record and activate the payment schedule treatment.
Configure Automated Payment Collection To automatically process payments for your transactions, your admins set up a payment scheduler with specific filters, such as the desired run frequency and matching criteria. Payment batch runs process existing payment schedules and payment schedule items to collect the corresponding payments and then apply them to invoices based on the payment application level.
