Flexcards for Inquiry Flows

Provide a variety of ways for prospects, applicants, and students to engage with your institution by adding inquiry management flows to your Education Portal. Clone and update the inquiry Flexcards before you add them to your Education Portal. You can customize the display labels and text to suit the purpose of each flow.

Tip
Tip Make a note of the names of your cloned Flexcards. You'll need them later when you update the component in your Education Portal.

Configure Flexcards for the Submit an Inquiry Screen Flow

Clone the Education Cloud Flexcards that are used to facilitate the Submit an Inquiry screen flow.

Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Education Cloud
User Permissions Needed  
To configure Flexcards:

Education Cloud Full Access

AND

Omnistudio Admin

AND

Omnistudio User

  1. In Omnistudio, in the App Launcher, enter Flexcards, and then select Omnistudio Flexcards.
  2. Open the EDUApplicationPortalNeedHelpSection Flexcard.
  3. Click Clone.
  4. Enter a name and title for the card.
  5. Click Clone.
  6. Click Submit an Inquiry.
  7. In the Action Properties panel, expand the Action section.
  8. Under Attributes, in Key, enter the name of your cloned Submit an Inquiry flow. See Inquiry Flows Setup.
  9. Activate the Flexcard.
  10. Similarly clone the EDUAdmissionsRFIZeroResultView Flexcard and update the Inquiry button, and clone the EDUAdmissionsRFIListViewContainer Flexcard and updated the New button.
  11. Open the EDUAdmissionsRFIListViewWrapper Flexcard.
  12. Click Clone.
  13. Enter a name and title for the card.
  14. Click Clone.
  15. Select the EDUAdmissionsRFIZeroResultView nested Flexcard.
  16. In FlexCard Name, enter the name of your cloned version of the EDUAdmissionsRFIZeroResultView Flexcard.
  17. Select the EDUAdmissionsRFIListViewContainer nested Flexcard.
  18. In FlexCard Name, enter the name of your cloned version of the EDUAdmissionsRFIListViewContainer Flexcard.
  19. Activate the Flexcard.

Configure the Flexcard for the Sign Up for Information Screen Flow

Clone and update the EDUAdmissionsRFIZeroResultView Flexcard to use it with the Sign Up for Information screen flow.

OmniStudio User
  1. Open the EDUAdmissionsRFIZeroResultView Flexcard.
  2. Click Clone.
  3. Enter a name and title that's suitable for a signup call to action.
  4. Click Clone.
  5. Delete the NoRFIImage element.
  6. Delete the Text-1-clone-0 element.
  7. Change the text in the UniversityText element to your signup message.
    For example, enter Sign up to receive our newsletter.
  8. Click Submit an Inquiry, and enter an appropriate label and aria-label for the signup action.
    For example, enter Sign Up.
  9. In the Actions section on the Action Properties panel, enter Open Sign Up for Information Flow as the action label.
  10. In the Attributes section, for the flowName value, enter the name of your cloned version of the Sign Up for Information screen flow. See Inquiry Flows Setup.
  11. Delete any conditions.
  12. Activate the Flexcard.

Configure the Flexcard for the Connect with Us Inquiry Submission Flow

Configure an Education Cloud Flexcard to use it with the Connect with Us Inquiry Submission flow.

OmniStudio Admin

AND

OmniStudio User
  1. Open your cloned version of the EDUAdmissionsRFIZeroResultView Flexcard.
  2. Click Clone.
  3. Enter a name and title that's suitable for a signup call to action.
  4. Click Clone.
  5. Delete the NoRFIImage element.
  6. Delete the Text-1-clone-0 element.
  7. Update the text element.
    For example, enter Connect with a recruiter.
  8. Click Sign Up, and enter a label and aria-label.
    For example, enter Connect with Us.
  9. In the Actions section on the Action Properties panel, enter Open Connect with Us flow as the action label.
  10. In the Attributes section, for the flowName value, enter the name of your cloned version of the Connect with Us flow. See Inquiry Flows Setup.
  11. Activate the Flexcard.
