          Add Donor Briefs in Nonprofit

          To generate your donor brief, upload customized donor brief templates and add them to your template library. Select a template from your library to generate a brief that's formatted by the template.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Nonprofit Cloud

          User Permissions Needed  
          To add donor brief templates to a template library:

          Fundraising_Admin permission set group

          AND

          DocGen Designer

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Design Document Template.
          2. Click Create Template.
          3. Click Upload Files and select a template file that is customized for your org.
          4. Click Done when the file upload is completed.
          5. Enter these details in the Template Details pane:
            1. Enter a name for your template without any spaces between the words. For example, DonorBrief2024.
            2. Select the type of template you're creating.
              Note
              Note The template type is usually Microsoft Word, which is the default value.
            3. In Token Mapping, retain the default entry of JSON.
            4. Save your changes.
          6. To make this template available for use, click Activate.
          7. From the App Launcher, find and select Files.
          8. Open Libraries and select DocGen Document Template Library.
            Note
            Note If you don't see the DocGen Document Template Library on the Libraries tab, add the Salesforce CRM Content User to your user profile and save your changes.
          9. Click Manage Members.
          10. Under Add Members, select Public Groups and give them Viewer access. You can also add yourself as a single person (as opposed to only being part of a public group) with Library Administrator access.
