Close a gift commitment when you no longer need to track it.

| To close a gift commitment: | FundraisingAccess permission set OR |
- From the App Launcher (
), find and select Gift Commitments. - Select the gift commitment that you want to close.
- Click
, and then select Close Gift Commitment.
After you close a gift commitment, the status of the unpaid or failed gift transactions is updated depending on the value of the Formal Commitment Type field.
